9月5日 The KingNo it is not the king you are thinking. My wife surprised me for our anniversary (9 years) with B.B. King concert tickets. The concert was this past Saturday. I have liked B.B. King for a long time now so I was very excited to see him in concert. B.B. King is 81 years old now (82 later this month), but man can that guy play still. It was some great music. Al Green and Etna James opened for him. It was a long concert from 7:30 to midnight but man those people can play. None of this synthesized music and reworking how the person sounds. They all sound as great live as they do on CD. I think every person on stage had at lest one solo on either bass, guitar, drums, keyboard, harmonica, trumpet, sax, etc. Those were some really talented people and man could they play! B.B. King's set was really story time with B.B. He would spend time playing songs and telling the stories behind the songs. It was really a great time watching him play. I have earned an even higher level of resepct for Blue's and Jazz and those artists. My wife scored us some great seats as well! We were center stage 5th row! Red Rocks is a great place to go see a concert!
8月21日 Wal-mart goes DRM FreeRegardless of your feelings towards Wal-mart more drm free downloadable music is good. Let be done with the hell that DRM has become. The songers are still a bit pricey in my opinion but if I can stop fighting with DRM all the time maybe it is worth the extra money. http://www.engadget.com/2007/08/21/wal-mart-begins-selling-drm-free-mp3s/ |
