My Brother and I went to last years (the first annual) FJ summit. We had a great time and this picture got be even more excited for this years. We will be better prepared this time around and have even more fun. Ouray, CO is one of the pretty places you will ever see. 

I just got my vanity callsign today. My new HAM callsign is W3EZY.

HAM on dear friends!

So I recently bought a new camera. After doing some research and trying to figure out what I wanted from a camera I decided to go with the new Canon Powershot S2 IS. I have a Canon 35mm Rebel for awhile and really liked it, however; the one thing I did not like is having to develop film in order to see if I got a good picture or to see how my playing around with aperture and stuff turned out. Because of this I never really got into taking pictures. So far though I love my PowerShot and will for sure being taking a lot more pictures. It has some very cool built in features (coolest of this being "My Colors" I think). The built in stuff really lets you try and be creative with your shots and I love the fact that you can view your shot immediately and make sure you got a good one. Form factor for the camera is great! Gives you most the functionality of an SLR plus a 12x optical zoom in a size that is pretty compact and easy to just through in a bag. So far two thumbs up. Way up!
