This Christmas season beware of what you support when you go to the movies. There is a movie coming out this Christmas called "The Golden Compass." It is made by an atheist and the sole purpose of the movie is to sell atheism to children and the masses. This is the authors attempt to counter C.S. Lewis's "Chronicles of Narnia." This idea of his movie though is the children kill God.

The movie is based on his trilogy of children's books called "His Dark Materials." Please do not support this author.

I have recently entered the world of HDTV. So far I have to say I am very pleased. While it is more expensive then I think it needs to be (got to love comcast) and I would love to just download the HD content I want instead of paying for everything (I have a beta of joost which looks promising. Joost or IPTV will get us there soon), I really have been enjoying it. You have just not seen TV until you have seen Discovery Theater in HD (Lost is pretty sweet too, but if they are not on that island anymore I will lose a lot of the great eye candy that island provides). I really wish the history channel would go HD. HD really gives your eyes a visual treat you don't get from normal SDTV.
